About the Event
The Treasure Valley Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned race open to all abilities. Athletes from across the country have come together to raise funds to support the adaptive community and enjoy the best of summer in Boise.
13% of people living in Idaho have a disability. They experience limited recreational opportunities, lack of community support, and restricted access to events. We want to change that and we think you do too.
Founded by BASE Idaho
"BASE" is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities enjoy year-round sports. Founded in 1978, BASE has facilitated adaptive ski & snowboard coaching at Bogus Basin for over 45 years.
In recent years, BASE has become a community leader by connecting all the local organizations that serve Idaho's adaptive community. The Treasure Valley Tri is BASE Idaho's celebration of athletes and our community! They hope to see the race continue on for years to come with participation from athletes of all backgrounds and abilities.
